Basic Features

Access Restriction by IP Address

Cloud Gate Light provides a specific administration console, from where the administrator can manage the security of login to Google Apps. With IP address restriction enabled, those IP addresses that are allowed to access Google Apps can be specified at the administration console.

When using Google Apps Light, login action to Google Apps is redirected to Cloud Gate Light. Any IP addresses that are not allowed by Cloud Gate Light will be blocked from access Google Apps.

Cloud Gate-Light Basic Features
1. Access Restriction by IP Address IP Addresses other than which is allowed and added into the white list will be restricted from accessing. Best suite the needs to block access from out side the intranet.	2. Access Restriction by Mobile Client In case mobile force with cellphones were about to access Google Apps, client ID restriction can be applied so that only company issued devices can access.
3. Access Restriction by PC Client With the IP Address restriction applied, PCs allowed to login from outside of company network, can still be registered into PC Client white list at Cloud Gate server and have access to Google Apps.	4. Account Management Feature Universal management on user accounts with directory and position information. Bulk import, export, update and delete via CSV file are supported.
5. Single Sign-on Base on the single sign on protocal (SAML 2.0) supported by Google Apps, SSO authentication between Google Apps and OpenLDAP is supported.	$1.00 per user per month ＋ Initial Setup Fee (Contact us for details)

Google Apps Authentication Service that values performance

Cloud Gate Light is an authentication system running on SSO server that communicates with Google Apps Single Sign-on interface. The login to Google Apps is authenticated by the collaboration of OpenLDAP and SSO server rather than Google site, thus we designed and built the service with performance taken seriously, in order to handle intensive requests without any slow down.

The Cloud Gate Light includes authentication feature as well as OpenLDAP service for Google Accounts managements feature. There is absolutely no need for extra server setup for Cloud Gate Light service.

Directory Management via OpenLDAP

Companies are able to manage the directory of users via OpenLDAP service. Google Apps accounts and passwords can be registered on the SSO server via CSV file.
The updates will be reflected on both OpenLDAP and Google Apps.
