Infrastructure Architect
| The Role: Infrastructure Architect | The Server Farm Architect is responsible for building the infrustructure of our own Cloud Service at the Datacenter in Okinawa. He is the person that understand the features of our self-developed cloud services and come out with plans of building the best suitable platforms that is optimized in computing ability, network bandwidth, I/O throttle, redundancy, PUE and many other aspects. You will also work closely with our service operation team to ensure the service availability and scalability. |
| Requirements | As our candidate, you should have strong understanding of data center infrastucture requirements and security standards. You should expertized in networking, linux distributions, system security, storage area networks and virtual environments. You should be bearing hands-on ability, able to build a appliance server from scratch, meanwhile, a strategic thinker, with deep insights into numbers and statistics and the ability to translate the business strategy to technical vision. You should be fluent in either English or Japanese and willing to relocate to Okinawa. |
Software Product Architect/Manager
| The Role: Product Manager | As a product architect/manager, you will be the ultimate decision maker for any technical issues with our on-going production. You don’t put your hands off the code, while you have more ambitious idea and eager to guide the product from conception to launch. You are responsible for: setting product directions, creation and maintenance of architectural integrity, proposal and assessment for new requirements, guidance for new projects, and resolution of conflicts within and between projects. |
| Requirements | As our candidate, you should be a clear headed logical thinker and passionate technologist, well grounded in computer science for product design & development, well versed on design for easy maintenance and coding for optimal performance; You should be highly experienced with web product development using Java, Javascript, html and other complementary languages for the front end, and PostgreSQL or equivalents as well as RDBMS for the backend; You should have at least one year experience working in Japan and have no problem communicating in either Japanese or English. |
Service Operation Leader
| The Role: Service Operator | As a service operation leader, your role is much more than a system administrator. You are dedicated to delivery of the software as a service to end-users. You understand our web-based authentication service from the root level, and responsible for: operation tools customization, real time service load monitor, load peak prediction and countermove, application optimization feedback to development team, calculating system capacity and providing scale-up plan. |
| Requirements | As our candidate, you should be highly experienced with linux-based infrastructure architect and maintenance, which should involve at least Apache, Tomcat, Heartbeat or equivalents, MySQL or equivalents and other complementary *nix applications. You should be versed on shell and scripting for maintenance and capable of proper programming and open source customization for service operation. You are welcomed if you have Java developing skills and software optimization experience. You should have strong communication skills, fluency in Japanese and spirit of team player in a Japanese maintenance team. |
Salary and Benefits
| Salary: | Annual wage (Incl. compensation) Examples: Developer (3 years experience): 3,600,00 Yen+Incentives ※ We offer competitive salary based on experience, age and abilities. |
